2009-2010 Squirt 99/00 Team Year In Review
The Scot Squirt Blue team had a great season. This 1st year squirt team consisted of players who had come from house league and had never played club hockey before and players who had played prep mite team last year. They were placed in B level hockey at the leveling tournament. This super team ended the season with 18 wins and 2 losses, one of those being in overtime. They had 4 shutout games. They closed out the season with a heartbreaking loss in the finals. The players fought hard with shot after shot but could not get the points they needed!
The team played several tournaments at A level including the MLK Texas Star tournament which they won and the President’s day tournament in Colorado Springs which they took 3rd. They had a 3 way tie for 2nd to play in the championship but lost the tie breaker. The players on this team had a great time and each of them improve 100% over the season.
