Scots Hockey Association

The Scots Hockey Association would like to thank all players who came out an attended our 2010/11 season tryouts. We had a great weekend with everyone and are looking forward to another great season at the Scots Hockey Association.

To all new and returning players. We are excited to have all of you with us and we are going to have a great season at the new Allen Event Center. The Scots coaches are gearing up to get you started! The team managers and coaches will be contacting you very soon for pre-season activities with your team.

Please check the website over the next couple of weeks as we will announce a association meeting for all teams that everyone will need to attend. This meeting will cover all the information for the upcoming season and we will be there to answer any questions you may have.

Interested in Volunteering? We need help any many areas!

We have open commissioner positions listed on the Board section of the website as well as open positions on the board.

We need volunteers to help with special events, such as the Scots Golf Tournament and a possible MLK Tournament.

We need help at the training facility.

We will be holding a Scots Hockey Golf Tournament and Auction on or around September 11th at the Los Rios Country Club. The Golf tournament is a fundraiser to offset the cost of scholarships for players and families in need. Please try and attend even if you don't play! We are planning things even for non-golfers! It will be a great of food, fun, music and golf!

We are in the process of organizing a MLK / Allen Americans / Scots Tournament weekend! We will keep you informed of this as it develops!

We will also be organizing several Scots nights with the Allen Americans. So be ready to come out and show your support of the Allen Americans!

So keep checking the website as we will announce many events and things throughout the season! 

It's going to be a great season to be a SCOT and we are happy to welcome you!

Official Association announcement:

The Scots Hockey Association has now moved all operations to the Allen Events Center. We are very excited about our new affiliation with The Allen Events Center, The Allen Americans and The City of Allen.

This move will be a great partnership for many years to come and we invite you all to come and check out our new home! We will be holding another Open House Event at the Allen Event Center on May 16 from 2pm to 9:30pm and would like to see everyone there!

We are looking forward to another fantastic season!!!

The Dallas Scots Dryland Facility Open as of July 6th.

The Dallas Scots Dryland Facility will be running as of July 6th for Strength and Conditioning training. We have a fully functional Gym with weight conditioning, cardio, plyometrics and Goalie training on synthetic ice with a Boni Puck shooting trainer. We will offer one on one training for Strength and Conditioning, Goalie Training or Rapidshot shooting development.

With  our new fully functional work out facility we have gone High Tech and are offering the newest in hockey technology for shooting accuracy and development. You can schedule shooting time or instructional time with a coach through the facility. For information please contact Toni Wade.
